Hear Us Out

As South Australians prepare to vote in March 2026, we face a defining moment. Homelessness in our State has reached crisis point.

Hutt St Centre is supporting people experiencing homelessness to share their voices in the lead up to the state election on 21 March through a new campaign: Hear Us Out.

Because people with lived experience of homelessness are the real experts in what needs to change.

We’ve asked our visitors what they want the government and politicians to know, and will be sharing the responses and advocating on their behalf over the coming months.

To the 7,000 plus people experiencing homelessness in South Australia, you deserve to be heard. Housing, safety, health and dignity are basic human rights. Because you are directly affected by these decisions, you deserve a real say in how they are made.
