Tim O’Callaghan is a highly regarded Intellectual Property lawyer and Registered Trade Marks Attorney with extensive experience as both a solicitor and barrister. Known for his strategic approach, Tim helps clients protect and enhance their IP while aligning legal actions with broader business objectives. Over a career spanning decades, he has conducted hundreds of trials and specialises in IP litigation, always seeking pragmatic solutions to achieve business outcomes efficiently. A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Tim also serves as the current Chair of the Hutt St Centre board, bringing his leadership and strategic expertise to support the organisation’s mission.

Sean van der Linden is Deputy Chair of the Hutt St Centre board and a partner at EY, specialising in corporate and international tax. He advises clients on the buy-side and sell-side of transactions, providing commercially focused guidance on capital gains tax, tax consolidation, financing, structuring, and due diligence.

Sean brings extensive governance experience, having served as a State Councillor, past Chair of State Council, and past Chair of the Professional Development Committee for The Tax Institute. His expertise in finance, strategy, and leadership supports Hutt St Centre’s mission to empower people impacted by homelessness.

Angela Carey is an experienced leader and director with a proven track record in strategic and operational management. A creative big-picture thinker, she guides boards through strategic planning and ensures focus on key objectives, including financial, community, and development priorities. Angela has a broad network across the housing, not-for-profit, and government sectors, supporting collaboration and impact. She currently serves as a board member of Hutt St Centre, contributing her expertise to advance the organisation’s mission and strengthen outcomes for people impacted by homelessness.

Annette Fidge is a senior executive and board director with over 25 years’ experience in business and digital transformation, organisational design, and performance improvement. She has partnered with private, public, and non-profit organisations to deliver strategic growth, operational efficiency, and social impact.

Annette brings strong governance and leadership expertise, having served on boards across social, educational, and sporting sectors, including as Chair of finance, risk, and audit committees. She is currently a board member of Hutt St Centre, contributing her skills to advance the organisation’s mission. Her background also includes national and international-level coaching, with induction into the Softball SA Hall of Fame in 2019.

Gabrielle Hummel is a respected professional with extensive experience in strategic engagement and policy development. She has spent over 11 years at the Don Dunstan Foundation, including roles as Acting Executive Director and Committee of Management member. Gabrielle currently serves on the board of Hutt St Centre, bringing her expertise in governance, advocacy, and strategic planning to support the organisation’s work with people impacted by homelessness.

Jenny Karavolos is an authentic and impactful leader with over 20 years’ experience across defence, transport, energy, and disability sectors, spanning both public and private organisations nationally and internationally. She brings expertise in strategic planning, business development, organisational transformation, operations, and technology, as well as experience growing technology start-ups and operating in emerging markets.

Jenny is a trusted board member, holding various non-executive roles with profit-for-purpose organisations over 14 years. She provides mentorship and specialist consulting to individuals and boards, supporting governance, strategic decision-making, advocacy, and the delivery of innovative, customer-focused outcomes.

Dr Mark Mackay brings extensive leadership and academic experience to the Hutt St Centre board. He is Director and Co-Owner of Complete the Picture Consulting and serves as an Adjunct Professor at James Cook University. Previously, he held senior academic roles, including Professor of Health Service Management at the University of South Australia and Acting Head and Professor of Health Care Management at Flinders University.

Dr Mackay also contributes his expertise through board and professional memberships with the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, Data Management Association Australia, and the Australian Evaluation Society. His strategic insight supports Hutt St Centre’s mission to empower people experiencing homelessness.

Sr Debra McCarthy is a Daughter of Charity and the Hutt St Centre board member representing the order. She entered the Daughters of Charity in 1982 after graduating as a speech pathologist and working six years with children with multiple disabilities, including those who are deaf or visually impaired.

Sr Debra holds a degree in Theology and Clinical Pastoral Education and has extensive experience in residential care, pastoral care in acute health, and disability services. Her leadership roles have included CEO of Marillac, Provincial Treasurer, Provincial Councilor, and Director of Pastoral Care at Calvary Health Care ACT. She is also a Trustee of the Daughters of Charity and serves on multiple boards within not-for-profit organisations, focusing on mission and values formation.

Noon is a results-driven executive and Hutt St Centre board member with extensive experience supporting CEOs, founders, and boards to drive growth, transformation, and sustainable scaling. With expertise spanning finance, IT, HR, HSE, legal, and governance, Noon ensures organisations have the systems, processes, and capability to succeed.

Recognised as a strategic and analytical thinker, Noon delivers operational excellence, strong corporate governance, and people leadership, mentoring teams to achieve both individual and organisational goals. Her experience spans SMEs, large corporations, government, and listed companies, with a long-standing commitment to serving on non-executive boards and advisory committees.

Lauren Kilsby is a results-driven senior executive known for her strategic vision, political acumen, and expertise in reputational management. At Hutt St Centre, she leads an award-winning fundraising and communications team and drives high-impact strategies across advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and brand reputation, enabling the centre to deliver services for some of South Australia’s most vulnerable community members.

With deep experience in strategic planning, government relations, and policy, Lauren navigates complex environments with clarity and collaboration. She is passionate about social impact, building high-performing teams, and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that drive long-term change.

Tom Steeple is the General Manager, Homefulness at Hutt St Centre, leading programs and services designed to support people impacted by homelessness. He brings extensive experience in the community services sector in Australia and overseas, including senior leadership roles at ac.care, Aboriginal Family Support Services, Uniting Communities Streetlink Youth Health Service, FocusOne Health, and UnitingSA.

Tom has served on multiple boards and advisory committees, including SANDAS, YACSA, Health Consumers Alliance SA, and SACOSS Policy Council. He holds a degree in psychiatric nursing, an MBA, and is completing a PhD exploring the impact of homelessness on young people in Adelaide.

Tameka is the Manager, Homefulness and Clinical Lead at Hutt St Centre. Tameka has a Social work degree and has worked at the Centre for over 10 years; in both case management and leadership positions across three of the centre’s programs. Tameka leads the Aspire Program, which started out as South Australia’s first social impact bond and Australia’s first homelessness specific social impact bond. Due to the success of the bond, the program has evolved into a government funded program. Tameka is passionate about the organisations vision to end homelessness and aim to support people to achieve Homefulness, which is exactly what the Aspire program strives to achieve.

Cameron is passionate about building and mentoring high-performing, collaborative teams that consistently exceed business goals. Known for his empathy, knowledge, and approachable leadership style, he focuses on talent development and creating work environments that inspire, engage, and deliver lasting results. His commercial acumen and leadership experience help drive sustainable growth and strengthen partnerships in support of Hutt St Centre’s mission.

Grantley has broad financial advisory experience spanning over 26 years, including the past 13 with Ord Minnett.

He specialises in investor asset allocation and portfolio management, with a particular focus on identifying growth and yield opportunities listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). His expertise also extends to superannuation, corporate actions, fixed interest, listed property investments, international diversification, intermediary execution services, and the strategic use of derivatives when appropriate.

Grantley holds a Bachelor of Accounting with the University of South Australia and initially worked as a financial accountant for six years with Qantas and with one of Adelaide’s most well-known companies.

Beyond his professional work, Grantley is a foundation board member of the Hutt Street Centre and actively supports several charitable, school and sporting organisations.

Alex Hehir is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor with over 25 years’ experience at Tilbrook Rasheed. He provides corporate and business advisory services, along with comprehensive taxation advice, across a wide range of industries.

Alex has particular expertise in hospitality, wine, medical, and retail sectors and enjoys working closely with clients to help them achieve their strategic goals. As a Hutt St Centre Foundation board member, Alex brings his financial acumen and strategic insight to support the Centre’s mission and ensure sustainable growth for programs benefiting people experiencing homelessness.

Ross Powell is Chief Operating Officer of JBS&G and a Hutt St Centre Foundation board member. He has extensive experience in the assessment, management, and remediation of contaminated land across Australia and New Zealand, working with clients in the private sector, government regulators, defence, mining, construction, and development.

A natural leader, Ross excels at guiding and developing teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing business operations. His expertise and strategic insight support the Hutt St Centre Foundation’s mission to deliver sustainable programs and initiatives that benefit people experiecing homelessness.

Rebecca Trude is the founder of Carmichael Digital and a Hutt St Centre Foundation board member. She has extensive experience leading innovative digital health initiatives that place people at the centre, improving experiences and outcomes across public and private health, social, and wellness services.

Rebecca is passionate about co-designing solutions using human-centred design principles, ensuring accessible, effective models of care that extend beyond hospital walls. Her leadership and expertise support the Hutt St Centre Foundation’s mission, helping to drive programs and initiatives that deliver meaningful impact for people impacted by homelessness.

Kate Gray is a dedicated business leader and Hutt St Centre Foundation board member, committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions for clients. She took over the family-owned Back Centre in 2021, after a 25-year career spanning FMCG, retail, and property research, including serving as Director of Research at Colliers.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce and is completing her land agent licence. She also serves on the RSPCA board. Passionate about people, Kate enjoys supporting her team, making a positive impact in the community, and spending time with family, friends, travel, and good food and wine.

Michael Connelly is a partner at Henry William Lawyers and Hutt St Centre Foundation board member with extensive experience in commercial litigation and insolvency, both corporate and personal. He has acted in disputes involving businesses, landlords and tenants, financiers, directors, shareholders, and individuals experiencing financial distress.

Michael is a fellow of the Australian Reconstruction, Insolvency and Turnaround Association and has served on the committee of the Women’s Insolvency Network of South Australia. Known for his client-focused approach, he works to understand each dispute from the client’s perspective, identifying practical, effective pathways to resolution.
