A listening ear and a comforting hand are central to pastoral care.

Pastoral care work seeks to meet people’s diverse spiritual and emotional needs.

The pastoral care team keeps the spirit of the Daughters of Charity alive, and together with others at the Centre maintains the values of this order of Catholic sisters who first opened our Hutt St Centre doors in 1954.

Pastoral care includes visiting the sick in hospital, staff and volunteer Reflections, preparation for funerals and memorial services and special prayer services.
