Donate goods

Hutt St Centre couldn’t do what we do without our generous supporters.

Thank you for supporting people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. By donating your quality, pre-loved goods, you’re not only giving these items a second life but also providing hope and comfort where it’s needed most. To uphold the dignity of those we serve, we kindly ask that all donations be in good condition and suitable for immediate use.

When I was sleeping rough, having access to healthy food, fresh water, and clean clothes at Hutt St meant everything. It reminded me I was human and I deserved care. - Alex

Corporate in-kind donations

At Hutt St Centre, we work closely with organisations that wish to make a meaningful impact through in-kind donations as part of their corporate philanthropy programs. In-kind donations involve non-monetary contributions, such as goods, services, or expertise, that support our initiatives and those we serve.

For instance, food manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors can contribute to our Dining Room by donating essential food items such as bread, meat and vegetables. Such contributions provide vital support to individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.

If your company is interested in donating food or other in-kind resources, please reach out to Lauren Pike, our Partnership and Philanthropy Manager on email laurenp@huttstcentre.org.au, who can connect you with our Kitchen Manager to discuss our current needs.

Kindly note that all donations must be arranged in advance to ensure they meet our requirements and can be properly utilised.

Thank you for considering a partnership with Hutt St Centre to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Schools or community group donations

If you are part of a school or community group planning a donation drive to support Hutt St Centre, we would love to partner with you! Hosting a donation drive is a wonderful way to make a positive impact and raise awareness about homelessness.

To ensure your drive is a success, please reach out to our Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator. They can provide promotional materials, suggest high-need items, and assist with coordinating logistics to make your drive as effective as possible.

Thank you for considering Hutt St Centre as the focus of your generosity. Together, we can bring meaningful support to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
