Introducing our new Ambassador, Elspeth Hussey

We’re excited to share that 7NEWS Adelaide Reporter & Weekend Early Edition Presenter, Elspeth Hussey, is now a Hutt St Centre Ambassador! 

Elspeth's work as a 7NEWS journalist has taken her all over the state, covering stories of triumph and tragedy, natural disasters, crimes, Royal visits, the coronavirus pandemic, and telling stories that matter to South Australians.

In her new role as Ambassador, Elspeth is looking forward to applying her passion for connecting and informing our community to help support people doing it tough, and to advocate for an end to homelessness. 

Elspeth says:

“I live close to the city and walk through the South Park Lands and along Hutt Street most mornings. I’ve seen close up both the highs and lows of this corner of the city. The struggle many people are going through, camping in the Park Lands – and the tireless, unjudgmental work of the Hutt St Centre.”

We're thrilled Elspeth has chosen to become an Ambassador to help us advocate for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness as they rebuild their lives.
