Most of us go to our drawers and pull out a fresh pair of 'smalls' without much thought – and we’ve generally got a few pairs to get us through until washing day!
But people sleeping rough don’t have that luxury. That’s why we’re so thankful for the ongoing support of David & Will’s FIVEaa Undie Drive.
50-year-old Brian* spent four freezing months sleeping in his car nearby Hutt St Centre, visiting daily for healthy meals, hot showers, medical care, and essential supplies like those provided by the Undie Drive. Brian shared his story in a moving interview with David & Will. Listen below.
Last year, this awesome initiative raised $75,264 to provide essential supplies like warm socks, new undies, and toiletries for people seeking help at Hutt St Centre and Catherine House Inc.
Thanks to this generous support, we've been able to meet the growing need for everyday essentials, supplying 11,618 basics since last winter.
