Decking the halls at Hutt St Centre

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Hutt St Centre!

Our wonderful friends at Bunnings have transformed the Centre into a Winter Wonderland in celebration of the festive season.

“Christmas is a particularly tough time of year for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness,” says Michelle, our General Manager of Advocacy.

“Many people who walk through our doors have lost everything – their home, their job, even their family and friends. So the chance to find a warm welcome and a fresh start is life-changing.

A huge thank you to the Bunnings team for donating these decorations and volunteering their time to deck the halls here at Hutt St Centre. Their kindness will help us make this Christmas season brighter and happier for people experiencing homelessness.”

Like every year, our big-hearted team of staff and volunteers will be here on Christmas Day to ensure nobody has to spend the day alone.
